Why Mock Interviews?

Interviewing for a job can be intimidating and even a nightmare if you’re not prepared. It’s terrifying walking into an interview having no idea what questions the interviewer will ask. All you can do is inhale and wait for the first mystery question to be revealed. Who wants to go through the unnecessary experience of ”winging” it?

Most people who apply for a job usually want it. You want your resume and attire to be on point and even just as important, you want to interview like a pro. The only way to do that is to prepare. How do you prepare? Practice!

Of course interviewers want to know about your experience, but they also want to know who you are and how you think. You will need to know how to skillfully communicate your skills and experience in a way that will intrigue your interviewer. This is where practice takes center stage. Once you know what to say and how to creatively and effectively deliver the message, you will have just elevated yourself as one of the top candidates for the position. As a matter of fact, a few of my students have gotten offers on the spot because their delivery wowed the interviewer.

I’ll give you the knowledge and tools you need to wow them! Stick with me, and I’ll help get your hired. Just remember, you play the most important role. I can give you tools and show you how to use them. You’ll need to hone the skills.

We’ll start with consultation where I’ll learn more about you and your career goals. After I learn these things, we will schedule our first video mock interview session.

The first mock interview will not be your last. We will go through two additional interviews. If you still need practice, we can reschedule more. After your first interview, I will evaluate the video and send it to you with my feedback. We will meet to discuss strengths and pointers and then rinse and repeat.

Once you’ve completed the mock interview sessions and you’ve developed the confidence and skills you need to be your personal best, I will send you a She Mocks Me Certificate of Completion! You will then be a She Mocks Me Interview Warrior. When you get the job offer, I will add a photo of you to the She Mocks Me Wall of Fame page on this website!
