With a patient centered culture, the IT Security Engineer will provide a positive experience to CUSTOMERS/PATIENTS/COMMUNITY through the support and configuration of IT security controls and enterprise and patient data protection throughout the Mon Health System. Additional responsibilities include coordinating the configuration, installation and the general troubleshooting of IT security hardware and software. Provides remote support for the IT security in all facilities throughout the organization. Provides second and third level support.

Education

BS degree or 5 years of Information Security Role experience required.

Experience

Minimum of four (4) years in information security roles required. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Intrusion Detection Systems, Security Incident and Event Monitoring, Anti-Malware Management, Vulnerability Management, Content Filtration and Firewall Management preferred. Technical knowledge and understanding of security concepts including Application Security, Web and Network Security, Identity and Access Management, Security protocols, and Compliance Frameworks preferred. Knowledge of IT functions such as Desktop Management, Systems Administration, Storage, Backup, Communications, Networking and Monitoring preferred. Experience with Windows, iOS, Linux Desktop, Windows Server and Linux Servers preferred. Knowledge of advanced systems hardening, systems management and patch management preferred. This position requires strong team-oriented interpersonal skills with detailed and concise documentation skills.

Certifications/Licensures

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or equivalent IT security certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements

Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to10lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
